AGGs 2023 was a huge weekend for the Singapore Gaelic Lions. Despite the weekend clashing with the Singapore F1 Grand Prix which impacted numbers, the SGL was represented by 3 men’s football teams, 3 ladies football teams, a hurling team and a camogie team. Of the 8 grades we entered, Singapore won 5: Men’s Senior, Men’s Intermediate, Ladies Senior, Hurling and Camogie.
The club also collected several All Star Awards in each of the 4 codes, along with winning the Most Valuable Player for Men’s Football, Ladies’ Football and Camogie. The winners were Peter O’Brien, Caitriona Treanor and Sinead Kennedy respectfully. Huge congratulations to all the recipients and to everyone in the club that took part and made the weekend such a success.
