Centaurs Sports Park, Turf City, Singapore
The annual Bill Niko Cup took place on the 12th of August on a very dry and dusty Centaurs pitch. The SGL proved too strong for the wombats on this occasion, beating them in all 4 quarters. The Aussies put on beers and a barbecue afterwards, and made up for losing on the pitch by comprehensively winning the boat race. Credit to Dan Kinney who was like a suckling calf and finished his can in record time, though we think he needed the liquid therapy after some rough handling at the hands of the Aussies (the pictures speak for themselves).
Best on the day for the SGL were Petesy O’Brien for the men and Rosa Devaney for the women.
