The Lisa Orsi Amazing Race 2026 was held on the the 5th of September, with 15 teams lining up at the starting location of the Penny Black, Boat Quay. This year’s route took the teams mostly through central Singapore, covering a lot of Singapore River, along with Little India and the Stevens/Newton areas. Race organisers Kymbo Tonkin and Rosa Devaney were feeling generous this year, and thankfully spared the contestants from any eating challenges (durian puree anyone?), but they gladly replaced them with alcohol instead.
First place on the day went to The Visa Run 2026 narrowly pipping The Lisa Orsi Amazing Ultramarathoners to the post. The winning team consisted of Rebecca Murray (or should that be Rebecca Costello now?), Aaron Costello, Sinead Kennedy and Duncan Moore. Aaron and Rebecca took back to back Lisa Orsi victories, following their win in early 2025. Their fancy dress attempt left a lot to be desired though (in the opinion of a not bitter at all 2nd place author).
Of course, the real competition on race day is the best dressed team. This year the winners (chosen by Lisa’s parents) were Feck, Drink & Arrmazing Racing.
